This fall marked the very FIRST anniversary of Gavin's competitive swim 'career'.

 

I wish I was was joking when I said it has taken over our lives.

 

Even Syd and Aj spend more time at the pool than home with their toys.

 

HOWEVER,

 

2-hours or workouts, 5 days/week, meets twice a month and endless washes of towels, hundreds of dollars spent of suits and goggles, an unrelentless chemical stench, and a pantry-that-can't-stay-stocked to satisfy that boy has led us to a very important number...

That, my friends, is a qualifying time in the 50 backstroke to compete in the Utah Junior Olympics.

 

And that is the proud face attached to that time.

 

So proud of you, Gavin!!
