What we've been up to (in pictures)

It's been a crazy fun last couple of weeks.

Field trips and lots of girl time - now that mommy's done teaching preschool. I love my job and my summer's off!! :)

The kids put on their spring mini-musicals with Lehi Children's Choir.
Aj and Syd's was called "Three of a Kind" and it dealt with familiar fairy-tale characters. They played the 3 little pigs with another little girl.
Gavin's was called "Saturday" and it was about a typical kid's view of what a Saturday SHOULD be versus what it REALLY is. =) He played the jokester at the sleepover.
They were awesome.

We went on our very first family bike ride. Probably did 6 miles. The kid's did awesome. We're making this a weekly thing. It's so fun.

Gavin's fourth grade "Rock Concert". It was a performance that displayed the vast amount of knowledge they have on all things igneous, metamorphic and Sedimentary.
I was super impressed.

And lastly, we went to the Hill Air Force Base Air Show.
We touched, explored, went inside, listened to and asked lots of questions about planes.
That's a uranium bullet that Aj's holding. It goes in an A10.
He was in heaven.
And yes, it was as cold as it looked.
It took me a solid 3 hours of huddling in my bed to get warm after we got home.
Totally worth it.
Aj is convinced he's going to fly one of those planes one day and shoot a bunch of stuff up.
When I told him to "go for it", he looked at me and said,
"you'd really LET me???"
